Kaplan's furniture takes pride in their sales team, we are not the typical chain that simply hires you and does minimal training. At Kaplan's, we want to see you succeed and we provide every facet of training to you whether it be through vendor representatives or our manager and other team members sharing knowledge acquired through their years in the furniture business. As a family business that has operated for over 80 years, we understand the work/life value that is why we encourage our employees to take two consecutive days off so that they have time for the people around them. We are looking for organized and motivated people who love to help others make their home their own.

Incentive based pay

Most furniture and sales positions treat new hires the same as seasoned veterans, this is where Kaplan's differs from the rest. We understand that new associates may take time to acquire the skills needed in order to be productive that is why we offer different pay structures for new associates that are more forgiving for beginners. Through our training and our close team atmosphere, within three months you will have everything you need to be a top sales associate. The great thing about our pay structure is that you are in control of your income.


At Kaplans furniture we invest in the tools you need in order to receive the results your hard work deserves. Kaplan's furniture engages in aggressive advertisements through different mediums, whether it is print, online, and mailing or sign holders on the street we do everything we can to make sure you get the customer traffic you deserve. Once the customers are in one of our beautiful showrooms stocked with the latest trends or some on the mainstays from yesteryear you as a sales associate will have numerous options at your disposal to help the customer design their perfect space. And if the customer cannot find what they are looking for we have multiple lines that offer various customizations so the customer can design exactly what they want.

As a retail business, our sales associates are required to work some evenings most holidays and most weekends. In order to provide a balance, we will give two consecutive days off in a week as well as the option for one weekend a month.


Each new associate will receive on the job training and will shadow one of our veteran sales associates so that they can be walked through live interactions with actual customers. In addition to witnessing live selling tactics, our associates will be educated on the products themselves from the materials used to construct the merchandise to the finishing options available to the customers.
