I would like to take this opportunity to let you know how I was able to determine that Kaplan’s Furniture is overall one of the best furniture stores.
On Sunday, I finally had finances available to me to be able to purchase living room furniture that we have needed. I looked at advertisements at different furniture facilities and decided to look around. I went to Kaplan’s Furniture first to see what couches and chairs you had available. Debbie come up to me and introduces herself in a truly friendly way and answered questions for me. She was neither pushy nor "aggressive." I looked around then proceeded with my shopping. I went to a couple of your competitors to compare prices and see what was offered.
When I entered the first competitor I had a tall, partially bald guy who had a foot long pony tail come up to me and welcome me in. He asked me what I was looking for and I told him living room furniture and home office desks. He adamantly told me that they DID NOT have any office furniture there; as I was attempting to tell him that I saw it on the internet and it was said to be at their outlet store, he over-talked me and was not receptive to what I had to say. He told me that they didn't have access to that place and it wasn't "their" store, but later said, after I explained how I got to that information, that they could possibly get it but doubted it. I have never been "argued" with after entering a customer service store within 3 minutes. I quickly went through the building to see what they had and noticed that their prices for the furniture had been pretty jacked-up in order to make the customer feel that they were getting a deal. I left the store and went to the second competitor.
At the second competitor the salespeople were a little nonchalant about helping, but I was spoken to by one gentleman. He didn’t seem interested in helping me or selling anything to me. Their furniture set-up was scattered and there was too much in too small of an area. It was hard to view the furniture. I was personally dissatisfied with the way I was made to feel unimportant as a potential buyer, and the furniture was priced high. They had nothing that fit my taste. Upon my leaving I was confident that the place I should spend my time and money was at Kaplan’s Furniture.
I came back to your store, Kaplan’s Furniture and was greeted again by Debbie and she was genuinely pleased to see me and made me feel like she cared. Debbie spent about 1 1/2 to 2 hours with me going over fabrics, patterns and styles to meet my taste and what I was satisfied with. She was patient with me and received friendly help from her co-workers to answer questions in a timely manner. It was a pleasure to see co-workers working together as a team in order to accommodate and help the customer. I wish more businesses worked together this way and had the "care taking" attitude.

Thanks for the excellent customer service that you provided to my husband and me. We love our new sofa and love seat! Also, Brayden was so surprised when his package arrived with his little sheep, as promised! He hasn't put it down since! It is hard to find someone who follows through on what they say they're going to do without any reminders! It was truly unexpected and very much appreciated!
